Hi I'm in the process of buying a hotel in the Highlands and this helmet is on one of the walls, if anyone can give me any information I would be most grateful. For all I know it could just be a reproduction !

It is just a reproduction, of a sugarloaf greathelm from the 14th century.

That's a great helm I'm sure of It, and I never seen a reproduction like this before. It must be old IMO.

It MAY be Victorian but I suspect that is about as old as it can be.
