Hi everyone,

Thinking of making the plunge, and purchasing an Albion Atlantean.

I was just curious if there are any differences between the way Albion manufactured the swords originally (in the low numbers, under a hundred) versus how they make them now.

Is it the exact same process?

Thanks,
Kareem

The same process is used now as it was then.

It is still a matter of hand grinding blanks (that are roughed out on a machine) and hand fitting and finishing components (that are cast from hand carved originals) to swords that are built on a one by one basis.

I love the atlantean swords though I prefer the Destroyer as it has the longer grip. When funds one day permit I hope to buy one, definitely a collection piece that you can hand down to your kids and also a great talking piece that brings me back to my childhood.

Not sure if the new ones come sharp though.

Good luck

Paul
