|
|
Dear Friends,
Effective 01/30/2014, I am stopping all new Crusader Monk commissions. All commissions currently in the shop will be completed on time, per your original arrangement, but once these are done, operations will be TEMPORARILY suspended while I yet again answer the call of this great nation. I will deployed in the Middle East for no less than one year, and possibly longer.
All of my vendor-partners have already been notified of this change and will be contacting customers soon that have done preorders through their prospective companies.
I will still be able to communicate, check email, and the like - so feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. This does not effect the value of any warranty issues or gift certificates; these are still valid - they will simply have to wait until I return.
I will be around CONUS another 2-3 weeks working in the shop getting my last batch or orders completed, so feel free to get in touch with me if you need to!
As soon as my status changes, I will let you know. Thank you for choosing Crusader Monk, I look forward to being able to serve you in the future.
In the interim, I kindly ask my customers to take any pressing commission needs to Christian Fletcher or DBK Customs. Both of these craftsmen are true artisans of the sword that will be more than happy to assist you in meeting your needs!
I look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Stay safe Sarge and keep us updated from the sandbox if at all possible. You are a standup guy and will be (temporarily) missed.

As other have said, stay safe and be careful out there.
I can't give any specific advice about what is best to do to stay safe as you know from personal experience a lot more about that than any " armchair general advice " I could give.
Also, may all your friends and fellow soldiers also have good luck and a safe return. ( Survive and hopefully do some good in a complex, confusing and too often " Evil World " ).
You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!

Thanks for all your well-wishes. It's great to be part of such a community and family.
Like I told someone earlier today: I wouldn't be much of a Crusader Monk if I did not have to go on the Crusade from time to time. That's why I chose the name to begin with, so I have to live up to it.

Sarge, thank you for serving, hope you all come home safe.
And to echo Mark, I hope to have two commissions waiting for you!

Good luck, man, and come back intact!

Jonathan:
Even though I strongly oppose the US government's militarism and can't honestly thank you for your service, I do hope you remain safe and am looking forward to more commissions from you when you return.

Best wishes and stay safe. Maybe you could also bump in some old sword over there, if you are lucky.
