Was the Halberd being used at all?

If it did, how did they look like?

I don't think you'll find any halberds in the 13th century. The closest thing is probably the sparth two-handed ax similar to the later bardiche.

Hi Matthew Paris drew something akin to a halberd, in the hands of mongols.
