I'm asking help for a friend. This is a tombal stone from Pescia, Italy, from a church near his home.
Can someone give it a date? Thanks

I think you can safely date this harness for 1370-1380. The chains on the coat of plates came out during that time and didn't last very long at all, no doubt, due to people pulling them off of their horses.

Excellent pictures.
I'd say more 1360 based on shape. Is the Brasses and Effigies site conclusive, or speculative?
I guess my point would be that most of Altichiero's armoured figures(1370s - 1393) have a different 'look.'

I would say E&B reports information from the sites where the images are gleaned. Dating effigies can be a tricky business without a paper trail for it's installation. 1380 might be more accurate, if you can find supporting evidence. Circa 1370 gives +/- 10 years either way.
