Any interest in a SW Ohio-based gathering of collectors, show and tell, and cutting party the afternoon of June 8th?

I checked my schedule and I'll be able to make it. Had you thought about what time the gathering would start?

Interesting! I just might be able to make it. Where would this be at? Ol' Cincinatti?

I'd be looking a 2 pm start, Don. I have something in the morning. I could grill food for dinner, too, if people are sticking around.

Bob,
It would be great to meet you. I live just north of town, near the Ikea store in West Chester.

That is a dang good thought, I'd love to meet you as well. Maybe pick up some formal lessons, because most of my learnings has been through reading and watching demonstrations, as I have no sparring partner.

But anyways, its still question marks though, I'm positive, but still, you never know.

Might be able to make it over if I can convince my wife (or somebody) to drive me! WTF?!

Joe, I can pick you up, It wouldn't be any trouble. The only down side is that we would have to leave for Chad's at about 2 pm. But we could stay until he kicks us out...

I'd say it's a go. Do we want to push the start time later, to 3 or whenever people show up? I still haven't heard from Mark; hopefully he can make it.

So we'd have: me, Ted, Joe, and Don. Anyone else? Happy

Hey guys, sorry for the late response. I've got a computer down and have been off-line for about a week. Very frustrating! (anybody here good with custom Linux installations? Worried )
I think the 8th will work for me so count me as a tentative-yes until further notice. Looking forward to it.

Time does not matter to much for me and it looks like my wife will drive so I'll have a few hours whenever you decide to start.

I live in Texas but I might be able to do this if it falls in my week off time frame.

I'd go up there, if I'm invited.

Start time can be a vague 2-3 pm or whenever people show up. I have a rehearsal earlier, so no earlier than 2 unless you want to sit in my driveway. Happy

I have some pool noodles, but they're a new brand/style and harder to cut than some other pool noodles. Feel free to bring any cutting media you want to chop otherwise. We can grill or order pizza or go out for dinner, just let me know what people's preferences are.

Christopher,
Anyone is invited and welcome, though it seems like a long commute for you. Happy New folks are always welcome from any area.

I'm not going to be able to cut so I'll stop in and chat/show and tell for a while and then probably go with to casino or shopping later in the evening with wife as penance!

Great, I'll try to make it. Yeah, it's a long commute but I am flexible and am able to do this kind of stuff more than most.
