Hello everyone, It's good to be here. I am planing to transfer some parts of <Recovery of Armour>. which is a work of Bai Rongjin of Institute of Archaeology of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Wish you like it. thanks

This armour was excavated from the tomb of Liu Sheng(a Prince of Han Empire, 165BC-113BC).

Very cool!

I see this Armour was from an early Han burial. Would this type of lamellar still be used by the end of the Han or Three Kingdoms period?

yes, it's a standard style of armour in Han Dynasty. Of cause, the details were sure to change a little bit as time goes on.

These are Three Kingdoms era(narrow sense, 220AD~280AD) potterys, collected in the Luoyang City Museum. Look at the open position.

PS:For Han Dynasty , 172BC~87BC is a important moment. At that time Emperor Liu Che started many many wars and completely changed the Empire. About that time, this type of lamellar has emerged.
