Howdy folks,
I've got my eye on a sword, but these are the only two places I can find it right now. Anybody purchase from either of these sellers and know if they're legit or not? There's such a huge quantity of 'unknown' arms/armor sites out there, I like to get some kind of opinion before giving them my money.
Thanks,
Pete

We had a thread about this that was lost in the site crash. With bytheswordinc some were good experiences, most were bad. I had a horrible experience with them trying to order a Gjermundbu helmet from them, they were rude, lied about wait times, and it took a while for my money to be returned. I'd say stay away if I were you.

Thanks for the replies, I will steer clear of bythesword. Hopefully I can find something good about Armorvenue

The KoA website says that if you're looking for a specific piece they can try to stock it. And beat the price of competitors. http://www.kultofathena.com/deepeeka.asp

Whoever handles the website for BytheSword does a terrible job of updating Out-of-Stock items. So if you do find yourself forced to go through them, call up their customer service first and confirm that they actually have the item you're looking for.
