Hello!
i want to explore more periods with my making, and decided that i would love to go into the LaTene period.
I have a great billet of hearth steel that will make a good sword, either anthropomorphic or longer organic hilted sword.

I wanted to ask if there is interest in such pieces in custom work.

the price of scabbardless sword would start around 1500 USD

Yes Petr, I am interested in either configuration! Are you planning on doing what Patrick Barta refers to as the proto-pattern welding with the piled bars or would you do a fully pattern welded sword?

I find this interesting and something different. Would love to see which pictures are influencing your design.

Ach! Go for the Anthro, Petr!! Use the same steel for the 'arms, legs, and head ' and reeeeally bring out the pattern! Any organic mid-grip material would only add to the beauty! Can't wait to see it ! I love LaTenes!........McM
