I (like others on this site) am on something of an earlier/migration era binge, and am wondering if anyone has early migration era examples of Behmer's type 3 or type 4 hilts--preferable the all-metal ones (bronze?). Pictures, drawings, construction methods, measurements, etc...
Thanks!

Kai,
Do you want to see some unearthed Behmer Type 3 Migration swords as well as their hilt details?
Here are they:
All photos are not mine and were scanned from Elis Behmer's book Das zweischneidige Schwert der germanischen Völkerwanderungszeit (The Double-edged Sword of the Germanic Migration Period).
