This miniature Basket Hilt Sword is made of silver. It has English hallmarks for the maker James Fenton (J dot F), .925 fine silver (a Lion), made in Birmingham (an anchor), and a date code of 1921 (W). It is 7 1/2 inches long and weights 1 1/4 ounces. Maybe it is a letter opener or a souvenir. Has any body seen one? I have been searching on-line, but haven't found anything like it.
