I'd like to present you the online magazine about reenactment which is already functioning but still under development.

Middle Ages Today. Daily online magazine on historical reenactment of the Middle Ages. Festival reviews, archaeological news, full combat medieval fighting, medieval theatres, analytical and historical articles, best photos and videos – we highlight reenactment in all its reflections. All the content is bilingual – English and Russian.

If anyone wants to cooperate - publish articles, make announcements, post photo/video reviews or manuals - please contact me. We would be very gald to help in advertising the blacksmiths and craftsmen by writing articles about them.

By the way check the fresh articles about the comparison of sport fencing, HEMA and Historical Medieval Battles and the article about the Historical Medieval Battles.

It looks pretty cool! Is there a lot of cross-over from Battle of the Nations fighters?

We highlight many full contact events, including Battle of the Nations National Teams events. So you can find some news about full contact at least 3 times a week on Middle Ages Today.

The layout is clear and easy to understand without being too cluttered.
The colour scheme means one doesn't have to struggle to see, and it looks pleasant.
The menu is efficient and easy to navigate.
I'm going to admit I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the English. It was clear, succinct, and easy to read.
There is a lot of things other than BoTN, HMB including HEMA, WMA, and amazingly even a little SCA. As well as news from all across Europe, and the America's (not Australia though, but we're used to that haha).
Very comprehensive.
All in all an excellent publication that I think will go far!

Fantastic work Igor (and the rest of your team too), I look forward to more!

Thanks a lot, I am very pleased to read such a feedback Happy

By the way if anyone wants to say what he or she is willing to see at the website - I would be very grateful and do my best to realize it. It would be very good to know what the readers are willing to read that way it would be easier to manage the content and make focus on the things which are more interesting.

There is much more in reenactment than BoN, HMB and even living history, so we are trying to highlight everything we can find information about, so if anyone willing to help (write an article or even just send a link for something you think worth attention) - Middle Ages Today would be very grateful for this. Any kind of information can be of good usage.

P.S. We have news from Australia, thought not very often Happy
