As far as I can tell, this topic does not exist, so here we go. Show us your swords which are single-handers in length. For European swords, following Oakeshott, this means Types X, Xa, XI, XIa, XII, XIIIb, XIV, XV, XVI, XVIII, XIX, XXI, XXII. It also includes falchions and grosse messers. Of course, swords from other time periods and locations are welcome, too.
We'll start things off with my Albion Tritonia, a Type XIIIb. My favourite picture of it is the one I submitted to Albion Europe's photo contest (click link to see full size):

I have this one in the works. Blade length- 35.5", total length about 42", just under 3lbs with no grip. The brass-hilted one now has a grip, I'll try to get some pics of the completed swords soon.

I don't own any single-handers yet, but I did just get an email from FedEx notifying me that Mike Sigman had sent me a pack package... I'm paying off three of their swords, and hopefully this one will be the Chevalier. It looks good from what I can see. I for one would like to see a larger, perhaps less blurry, photo. I really like the hilt of that sword, too.

 Eeeek! Jean, what inspired you to design a single-handed sword with such a huge blade!? It looks almost as if it could do one of those exaggerated feats gory violence you read about in chivalric poems, like beheading horses or cutting men from the helmet down to the saddle!

A really tough one for me to explain and show the hoard in its entirety. There are "show us your" 18th and 19th century threads which would be the bulk of my one handers. I think I had also started threads called Some Sabres and Some Spadroons that would list many.
Gone to others this year are an old Oscar Kolombatovich and an older Del Tin/MRL piece now in the hands of another myArmoury fellow. Hey, he ended up with the Conyers Falchion a few years ago as well. So the table shot here sjhows thiose three along with the Windlass Patton I still have and the Windlass espada ropera which had been a mate to the Del Tin blade (two hand two sword fun). The espada my first modern reproduction. So, aside from those two left of modern made stuff are a 2002 Hanwei Practical Katana and just bought this year a very nice straight Japanese type blade in rosewood shirasaya. Oh, I still have a rapier from a sale a few years ago. Oh, a cutlass in limbo right now as well.
The espada still gets top billing on my wall though. Geezo, then a civl war type repro I used to spend more time with. Too many to count. I guess the Japanese swords are really two handed though. myArmoury needs another thread Many older swords are packed up right now but two favorites have come out for daily handling and play.

I guess relatively new members haven't read or seen this Topic thread from a few years back.
To answer the questions about the statistics of the sword for those not willing to read all of the 10 pages of the Topic I suggest reading the first couple of pages for the origins of the idea ..... crazy as it might be, and the last few pages showing multiple pics and the results. Those patient enough to read the whole thing will read that it took at least 3 attempts to make this sword due to some technical difficulties with heat treat and the wrong steel being supplied and mis-identified by the steel supplier + plus at least one sword breaking during quality control testing after heat treat.
For those just wanting the numbers here they are below:
Just quick recap of vital statistics:
Weight: 4 lb 15 oz
Over All Length: 43 1/2"
Blade length: 36 1/2"
Width of blade at hilt: 3"
Thickness of blade at the guard: 3/8" ( significant distal taper to a thin blade near the point similar in thickness to my Albion Tritonia: No calipers to get a precise measurement ).
Point of Balance: 4 1/8" from guard.
Center of percussion: 23 1/2" from guard.
Rockwell C: 52, 1075 steel.
Finish: Similar to the Albion one.
Oh, and it handles quite well in spite of the weight.

That Sovereign is so nice. You have posted many pictures of it in the past and each time I've seen it I then wish Albion made it with brass as an option. Great acquisition!

I bought a custom sword from the now defunct Armart a long time ago. They later sold it as a production model. It was based on Oakeshott's, Records - XIX.7. They did a good job except for totally blowing the engraved grooves on the ricasso. Compare them to any of the Albion XIX's to see what I mean. Other that that, prbably one of their best swords. 60% distal taper. Good scabbard with a slit in the side for the finger ring.

Chad, every time you post your Gaddhjalt I grin a bit--I picked up one this year, as my first sword. It too had a light brown grip, which is now almost black from sweaty hands all summer. I'll post it up soon

It's bronze and the bronze pommel is always an option. They made just a handful with a bronze guard as well (even though mine was supposed to be the only one). Maybe one will come up on the used market; don't expect it to be mine, though.
