The sword showing in the picture on the Big Rock Forge site is "Verteidiger" - a commission Scott did for me.
You can find info about it the in Makers/Manufacturers forum. I've also since received a rondel dagger that is complementary to the sword. I am extremely pleased with both - you can see my thoughts in the Verteidiger thread.
Scott is great to work with: good communication, takes the time to listen and undertand what you're trying to get at, and makes really good choices (in my opinion) when you give him a "concept" of an idea, but can't really articulate specifics.
His site also links to his "Cold Iron Blog" that goes through the "in-progress" on much of his work.
I very much recommend Scott and his work.
