Hello!
I wanted to show you my newest creation.
Its a viking or alnglo dane spear with 5 bar patternwelded blade, and winged socket cast in bronze.
The socket ornamentation set is well in the first half of 11th century - its ringerike style
However this spear might look as fantasy or historical fantasy i think it historicaly possible as its based on find of intact socket of different ornamentation, and the fragment of one wing found elsewhere
(i will supply the pictures of the finds if you want to)
i also made a wood, leather covers sheath
anyhow, here are pictures, enjoy and feel free to comment

Petr,
Outstanding work. Your spearheads are easily the best out there.

Beautiful piece Petr, well done. That has to be the nicest spearhead I've seen in year.
