Hello

I'm looking for late gothic and early renaissance manuscripts, books does not matter what about but including armoured people; pictures about statues, tombstones with armoured nobles and photos about armour from that time period from anywhere in Europe.

Every help I highly appreciate.

Thanks,
Dávid

The site covers up to 1450. If you're interested in later dates, I can provide some links to digital libraries, but you're on your own for the search.

I would be interested in later dates and would be very happy if you could post the links of digital libraries.

Thanks,
Dávid

David, if you are interested in this period pls see pages: www.europajagellonica.eu This ongoing exhibition is for you a real "must see". I visited it yesterday...and it is beauty - more than 300 hunderds really valuable artefacts and on the lot of them......guys in armor......:o)))....Perhaps it is possible to order the catalogue.....There are also some artefacts from Hungary and Transylvania.... Strongly recommended to all forumites...This exhibiton shall be moved also to Warsaw and Potsdam........

Of course there are many, many others, including art museums and universities. I'm sure these are enough to keep you busy for a few months.
