I got these photos of my new scabbard for my viking type Q sword made by OlliN. The scabbard was done by fellow forumite Dan Dickinson. I couldn't be happier with it! The leather work is especially nice. Thoughts and comments welcome...

Excellent work! Dan made a similar package for me a few years ago, for my Albion Crecy, with a slant toward my family heritage. The amount of detailed research he put into the piece, especially for the price he charged, was amazing. I know you will love it when you get this. Dan's work is outstanding.

Beautiful scabbard Tim and Dan!
I think the amount/level of detail is perfect, and that chape's tremendous.
(Wouldn't mind seeing a pic of the sword beside the scabbard!)

I love type Q's! I would love to see some pics of the sword itself. Really nice scabbard too. I have often wondered what sort of scabbard would be appropriate for Q's and AE's.

Exquisite work. The scabbard really mates well with the sword; which doesn't always happen. The time involved must have been tremendous.
Does Dan Dickinson have a website?

J.Hargis-He doesn't have a website and I think he just does scabbards for fun...
Here are a few pics of the sword, I have removed the blackening since these were taken. It's based off the Irish sword found at Lough Gur.
