Here's a new rapier I just finished. Its currently mounted with wallhanger blade I picked up at the albion moat sale, but as soon as some new blades arrive in the mail it will get a combat worthy one. I spent a while staring at it before I decided to blue it, but I think the grip/guard contrast looks pretty good. Its available with a blade of the buyer's choice. PM me if you're interested.
Eventually it will make it onto the For Sale page of my site: www.jessebelsky.com/stageswords

thanks for looking.

Jesse

Here are a few process shots, plus a few pre-blueing.

The bluing was a great choice and works well with the wire-wrapped grip.

Cheers

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it. The grip wrap is gold and silver colored twisted wire....it looks a little funny in photos because of the resolution. Here's a close up.

Thanks to everyone for the very friendly responses. This rapier hilt (mounted or unmounted) is available for sale on my website at www.jessebelsky.com/stageswords

I'm asking $500 for the hilt plus the price of a blade of the buyer's choice. No extra charge for mounting it.

thanks for looking!
