Michal of Nielo Sword has just sent me some pics of my new, almost finished, scottish medieval sword, it should be in my hands hopefully very soon. it is based on a typical scottish design with angled quillons and long peening block
i'm planning to complete a trilogy, with a classic claymore from the early 16th century
and another single hander with the lobated pommel found in many highlands effigies.
a small review will follow, let me know what you think

Very nice, I especially like the blade shape. Very graceful. I look forward to seeing your review. I really want one of these, but the Scottish crossguard is one of the most difficult to make.

In my opinion, the pommel looks a bit flat (too 2 dimensional) and lacks the grace of the original.
