Fairly nice? That's like saying that the Mona Lisa is a nice painting. The hanger looks real nice and the Wallon sword looks outstanding to me. Great work.

Wow... just looked at your website and you also did a really nice Prussian Pallasch. Very nice work. What kind of steel do you use for your blades? Can they be used for fencing?

Hi,
thanks for your comments, I´m glad you like it.

For Christopher:
all our blades are hand-forged (from spring steel), hardened at 50-52 HRc.
We make swords not just for collectors, but also for members of reenactments (for fencing in battles-reconstructions, etc.).
Austrian pallasch - here are some pics for you:
Photo A: I made a wooden model first (for brass casting of the basket). Picture shows original pallasch and my wooden model.


Photo B: here´s the original pallasch and my replica.

Coolness factor 11 on the blades as well, thanks for the shots. I really dig the wide fullers and fancy curved tip.

I am impressed by the blackned hanger,i think was a great idea.Wallon has a very nice work on handle making.
My compliment,you are reachin pretty high level on custom swords.
