Hi All,

I posted up some pictures of available pieces a few days ago and this in the second set of pictures; I hope there is something there for you.

The first set of pictures is of 7 knives and all the prices and information is from left to right.

Landsnecht dagger, bronze handle diamond blade, a common form and based on one in Leeds Armouries £300
Ear dagger, bone and horn handle, brass scales, bronze fittings, leather and wood scabbard, hollow ground blade £600
Italian dagger, silver plated brass handle, bone scales, silver plated bronze lion, fitted to belt with bronze fittings. Piece was based on a sketch from the Osprey book 'Itlaian Militiaman'. This piece was a comission, but customer wants more decoration and silver plated belt furniture £480
Dudgeon dagger, stained holly handle, flat bottomed triangular blade, styled on many existing examples. Steel chape £240
Dirk, brass handle and fittings, based on a few existing examples £330
Seax, bone, horn and box handle, brass and bronze fittings to scabbard £230
Main gauche, steel furniture to hilt and scabbard, diamond blade, box wood handle, £360

The second set of pictures
Top cooks set left is £330, the right is £390, the left hand set is £330 and they all have box wood handles.
The 9 daggers from left to right
Brass rondels, olive handle, diamond blade £220
Steel rondels, olive handle, thick single edged blade, steel chape £250
Steel rondels, horn handle, flat backed blade, steel chape, £270
Baselard, box scales, diamond blade, steel chape, £280
Steel rondels, horn handle, reinforced back edge to single edged blade £steel chape £240
Bollock dagger, single edged, beech handle, bronze button £140
Bollock dagger, single edged, elm handle, bronze button, bronze chape £150
Bollock dagger, single edged, beech handle, bronze button £140
Bollock dagger, singled edged, box handle, bronze chape, brass cap £160

The last item is a Burgundian girdle buckle, based on a piece from Memling and is £120 - not exactly a weapon, but it may help to sweeten any knife purchases with the other half. White bronze and takes an 88mm belt (3.5")

Regards

Tod

Ok my friend you stated pt2 as

"pt2 tomorrow which will be some more daggers (but mostly more utilitarian) and some cooks sets."

which is almost a lie when you look at the great stuff here. These all look excellent.

Todd, you never cease to amaze........

If I could free up the funds, that dirk would be mine. Or, the seax. Or one of the bollock daggers. Or................

I second that a BIG BIG LIE, false modety or just delusional. Wink Razz Laughing Out Loud ( Joking obviously. Big Grin Cool ).

Yeah, the utilitarian stuff is there, and quite nice also, but there seems to be an abundance of more " exotic " pieces.

You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!

Thank you all.

I guess I found a couple of bits I forgot were going to be posted.

I think a couple more pieces will find a home so I will announce these in due course.
