Let's see how people's collections break down by item type:

Here's mine:

Swords: 7
Daggers/Seaxes: 8
Knives: 5
Armour: 1

Total: 21

I suspect we'll see a number of sword-heavy and/or sword-exclusive collections, but it will be interesting to see how people's collections spec out. Happy

Oh, geez, you HAD to go and ask this! All right, hold on while I count...

Swords: 28, I think, including a few lacking hilts, plus one waster
Axes: 13, plus 1 bill unmounted
Spears: 9? Mostly bronze. Need more.
Javelins: 16? Including approx. 6 Roman "cheapy chucker" pila, plus 2 harpoon heads
Knives/daggers: 14? Including folders
Helmets: 29 including 3 modern (M-1 pot and 2 "Fritzes"), and a mail coif
Shields: 20, plus 2 unfinished
Body armor: 11, plus a gambeson, not counting the aluminum flashing lorica from high school!
Muskets: 2 (1 matchlock and a Bess)
5 pairs of greaves and a pair of mail chausses, and a Roman manica (armguard)

Some of this is orc stuff, I hope that's okay! And thanks David and Timo for not leaving *me* in first place... Oh, got 3 chainsaws but the 2 gas ones won't start...

Matthew (who denies he is a sword collector!)

Being that this is November, my first sword purchase started one year ago. Between there and now:

Swords: 7
Blunt force: 3 (2 maces and 1 warhamer)
Polearms: 1 (halberd)

Some of these are still on order, but since I've paid for them I'm going to g ahead and count them.
