Here is a project I have been working on in my spare time in the Armoury.
It is of R.C47 hardness 80CrV2 steel (a new EN47 equivilant)

This being a sword for a re-enacter. I made it for myself, but I am now moving into the world of Talhoffer. Happy
I do feel personaly for me it is rather blade heavy as i like to make a sword which balances about an inch from the guard.
this sword balances at arounf 3.5inches from the guard.

Weighing 3lb 4oz
Blade length 70cm
Width at guard 57mm
Width 30mm from point 23mm
Thickness of edge 2mm

Balancing at 87mm/3 1/2 inches from the cross.

A Cusom order like this would be around £350.
I am looking for around £295 for the sword, so it has an owner and isnt gathering dust.

Thanks for reading! Happy
