The turkey Buzzard is a kind of Hawk that looks like a Vulture , as is this.....

Actually it's a vulture that kind of looks like a hawk, but that's beside the point...

I love that hawk! The Turkey Vulture has always been my favorite bird and that hawk really is reminiscent of it.

In Europe, a "Buzzard" usually refers to the raptor we in the USA call a Hawk. And I too, really like the Turkey Vulture - just don't get too close to one: they defend themselves by regurgitating their food towards an aggressor! It's a most unpleasant experience.
