Hi I've just finished these bearded axe heads. They are made from mild steel and have a forge welded 1070 bit. They are available for sale. I am asking 180(bearded) 195 (helmdach)cad for the heads and 240/255 with a simple ash or elm handle. If you are interested in buying one of these and would like to dress it up please let me know before monday.

I just wanted to credit Jim Austin for all of the effort he has made to research the construction methods of these kinds of axes. His work and DVD are awesome and I recommend that anyone interested in axes check out his work and site. http://forgedaxes.com/
