Hello,
I'm looking to find more images of early baselards/Swiss daggers. For the sake of definition, here's what I mean: daggers of the 14th century (and beginning of the 15th) with a through tang (not scale), wooden grip (now often missing), and metal reinforcements to the wood grips. Many authors of English-language works simply call these early baselards. In Europe, they are often called Swiss daggers, even though that name is perhaps more applicable to later pieces. Nevertheless, I'm not looking for any debate on etymology or terminology.

Here are a few, sorry they are just "browsed from the web" so don't have as much documentation as I would like.
Most of these are more the baselard, sideways capital H form rather then the curvy Holbein style

Thanks, though I'm actually not interested in the "sideways capital H" form as you call it (the ones with riveted on grips) at all for this thread. I just want to to see more like the ones I posted: whittle/through tang with end-reinforced wood grips. If it has a capital I-shaped tang with rivet holes through it, I'm not looking for it in this thread.
Also, Holbein daggers are a subset of Swiss daggers. They look much more like more modern SS daggers than the early ones I'm interested in.

Michael,
Thanks! A number of those are Hermann Historica items I've seen but didn't include in my posts because they were later than I'm looking for. I'm really looking for earlier stuff, from circa 1400 and before. Stuff from the mid to late 15th century and into the 16th is later than I'm trying to find pics for.
Can you tell me any more about the 3rd one you posted?
