not long ago i posted a topic regarding images of a soldiers jack over an arming doublet. (you can see the different articles of clothing with the doublet peeking out from under the jack near the bottom edge of the jack. )

however ive had trouble figuring out WHERE this stuff is housed, and which nations soldiery it fits into ifindeed it fits any particular nation

Doring kindersley describes this as from the kit of the late 15th century,

Its re-enactor kit from one of the folks in the group that Gerry Embleton ran with while writing the book. Aside from the mitten gauntlets its pretty closely styled after the Hans Memling "Martyrdom of St. Ursula" paintings.

although the soldier from the the matyrdom of st ursula was also depicted as wearing maile,
whi9ch group was wearing it from,
btw, GDFB also are releasing glaives and a jack and jack chains identical to this one, except they claim it is from a museum piece. http://www.flickr.com/photos/snarfel/3082016767/in/photostream/ but that soldier also lacks the visored sallet, having an italian celata instead,
