I've seen the use of whalebone as a waster material mentioned a couple of times, and was wondering if anyone anyone has ever attempted constructing a waster from it instead of wood, and what were the results like? While it'd propably not be the most cost-efficient choice, I'd still be quite interested in hearing about its performance...
