What period? The common styles of belt vary over time. I am currently working on a 15th century belt for my longsword.

I'm not too knowledgable about this stuff, so I can't really help directly, but your new time frame is still 150-200 years. A dollar says the pros on here come back asking for even more narrow of a time frame. Try to knock it down to a 50 year period to get the good answers.
