Double fuller (similar to the 1435) in place of the standard single wide fuller
Shortened (to stock 1425 width) beaked bowtie cross, slightly downturned
Standard black leather grip, standard pommel
Exact Specs yet to be determined

Just want to say thanks, James, for the preview pics. And thanks to you and Gus for taking the time out of your busy schedules to make this project happen. It looks beautiful and I can't wait to get it in hand! It came out almost exactly as I imagined it, and I am especially relieved about the cross. I had second thoughts about two weeks before completion that I wasn't clear enough as to HOW MUCH I wanted the cross downturned. Gus, you're a mind reader - it came out perfect!

That looks amazing! Gus Really did a great job. Can't wait to see it in person let alone play around with it a bit. I am thinking that with all of the new sharp and pointys in our neck of the woods between you, Jason, Lloyd and I that we might have to throw a little cutting party of our own. My "victims" last night didn't stand a chance BTW! Bob and i Had a blast in his front yard around 9 pm LOL.

As far as the "custom" process, here goes: quite a while back I began emailing Josh Hemmingway and Gus at All Saints about some hilt modifications to my recently passed on AT1513mk1. Although still great ideas, much of what I wanted to do had to do with messing with the pommel a lot, so Gus politely let me know what would happen if such things came to pass.

As time passed on and I continued to browse All Saints, I fell in love with the double fullers on the AT1435 (I have a soft spot for Types XIV and XVI) and had really liked the 1425 for a long time. Also, the 1435 didn't fit into one of my other recent criteria in that I am focusing my efforts on comfortable carry swords (ren faires, now the Return to Camelot stuff ,etc.) My problem with the 1425 (I can be such a diva at times) was that it looked a little plain. . . So, I emailed Gus and asked him if the double fuller setup off thet 1435 would work on the 1425 right around the time Capt. Nelson passed away. Gus got things sorted in his neck of the woods, got back to me and said that he figured it should work. So, I contacted James at Gus's request, placed the order, noted my specific requests for the cross, and the rest is history.

Congrats on the 2fuller Jonathon! I like the look of the fullers being blued on your sword, might have to do that with my AT1316 instead of sanding the grind lines out with paper and a dowel. Nice sword!

My new sword arrived safe and sound. Sorry, all, haven't had much time to post/etc. I think I might actually knuckle down and do a full review(?!) So, for everyone who is looking for specs, etc. stay tuned!

Quickly, though, to address a previous post - Sweet, the fullers are blackened. . . not originally what I had in mind, but interesting. . .more to follow!
