Hi all

Inspired by this thread (among other things), here's a Rugger I propose you. The 23 cm blade is 1080 steel (5 mm thick at its base) and has been given a differential heat-treat to echo the period construction associating a hard edge and a softer back ; OAL 362 mm.

The scales are walnut, and the tubular rivets have been hand-rolled form 1 mm steel sheet. The blosters and Nagel are fileworked after period examples.

The scabbard is, as always, vegetable-tanned leather dyed using period methods.

Thanks to my friend Alain for proviuding the metal and first flames at his forge.

If you're interested in that item, please PM me.

Cheers !

Fab
