Hi,
a few months ago I was pretty impressed with some of Leo Todeschini's knives. Here is the link:

As the wedding of one of my friends is approaching, I thought I would make a pair of eating/steak knives for him and his wife.
I took the blades from some old kitchen knives. The scales were made from mirabelle out of the garden, the small hearts were shaped from bone.

Nice thoughtful gift and much better than just buying something from a store.
