Julien’s great pics from the Wallace Collection the other week have inspired me to share a few high-resolution pics from the other end of the island. I have uploaded them as a zip file as they are 126 MB. The Burrell does not have a large collection of swords, however it should be of particular interest to anyone studying types XIIa and XIIIa.

BTW, does anyone know of a better free file-hosting site?
Here are a few samples:

Magnificent! There are some great shots in there.
Many thanks for that Ryan (actually a single upload via rapidshare is quiet handy, might do that next time instead of fussing around with photobucket).
Cheers,
Julien

Things have been a bit chaotic on the file-hosting front lately.
Rapidshare used to be top dog by far. They changed their policy and alienated their users in a matters of weeks. Now no serious board will now use them.
Next best thing was hotfile. I took an account as well (a year!). Two month after they also changed their approach to copyrighted materials and started offflining their users massively.
Now the next best thing is filesonic and fileserve. used pretty much everywhere....for how long I can't say
Cheers,
J
