Interesting piece I picked up at the SOS appears to be a back plate very heavy and the belt studs appear to be Prussian(look like the frog studs on Prussian bayonets) Any ideas

I really don't know much about this but it looks like an image I once saw of a Russian WWII special ops bullet-proof armor.
