Hey guys
I'm looking for info, pics, or video on the construction and function of Pull lever crossbows or push lever crossbows. My own efforts have met with little success.

Hey,
Hope its not too little too late, but I just stumbled upon your post while looking for info on push-levers myself. A couple nice things I have found were that some people still make historical crossbows like...
http://replicacrossbowworld.com/english.html
While I didn't find anything direct about pull levers on their site I couldn't help but notice that their crossbows have the mounting lugs for "goats foot" pull levers. I bet if they don't make the goats foot themselves they would know where to find them. Here is another site selling a crossbow with a goats foot included
http://www.todsstuff.co.uk/crossbows/munition-crossbows.htm
Here is a website with a whole bunch of goats foot info
http://crossbows.republika.pl/goat.shtml
Hope this helps. Again, please don't be alarmed at getting a response long after your post, I just started looking this stuff up myself and figured you might still be interested. Also, I have yet to find anything good on pull lever types, if you have any info I'd appreciate it.

Are you looking for period crossbows like the Latchet bow? http://www.todsstuff.co.uk/crossbows/latchet-crossbows.htm an example from Tod's Stuff. Unfortunatly I haven't seen too much information about latchet crossbows.
For a more modern Example is there is the Twinbow.
Anouther place to for crossbow building information is the The Arbalist Guild http://thearbalistguild.forumotion.com/ I believe they have several threads with some information on latchet mechanisms and what not.
