Can any of the fine gents on here point me in the direction of a decent axe maker? Im looking to get get a custom dane axe made but alas Ive had no luck in traking down a craftsman. My budget is in the $400 range. thanks very much!

And here is another one by the same maker: It's a smaller one handed one but could be easily scaled up to Danish axe dimensions and this one has a fully hardened edge on a softer body and more custom than their standard version.

Hi Arthur,
Arms and Armor is currently making me a custom dane axe. It is going to have very similar lines to the example posted by Jean, but will be scaled up to a full sized dane axe. I will third the recommendation that you give them a call.

You can also talk to the Stagmers at Baltimore Knife and Sword. While they are generally known for their swords they also do axes.
