I am searching for more information on this helm.
Is it in a museum or a private collection now?
Has it been lost to the world?
Are there any other pictures of it?
Are there any detailed notes on it?
Damned frustrating having something that important just disappear.

Well, I'm sure I have seen it many times, and in the Net, I can find this:

In post # 37 it is mentioned as it's klapvisier from Valeria Castle in Sitten/Sion in Switzerland.
Maybe that will be helpful to find something more about it.
