I noticed this interestingly large and chunky baskethilt hilt in an Osprey book on the highland clansmen and decided to ask the baskethilt and decided to ask the baskethilt aficionados here about it. the basket is much larger and squarer than any others I have seen, and the blade appears to be quite broad. sorry the pic isn't better
