Hello,
I have been trying to get a pair of decent gauntlets for a while. I have not found a suitable set yet. Has anyone had experience with Medieval Reproductions? The armour looks quite nice from the photographs, although they don't have that many photographs of any one item. My main concern is authenticity (obviously functionality would be incorporated into authenticity, I am not looking to "improve upon" a medieval piece... as such I am not interested in stainless, aluminum, etc.), price is not much of a consideration. I would like to keep it around $2,000 US, but that is not set in stone.
Thank you,
Hadrian

You can't go wrong with Peter Fuller. Whatever you work out with him, the commission will be done with flair and accuracy.

I have first hand knowledge of Mr. Fuller's work. His work is absolutely first rate and historically accurate. The items he has made for me are among my proudest.

Hello,
Thank you for the replies. I had not noticed the review... oddly enough I had even checked. I think I was looking through the list for Peter Fuller, rather than Medieval Reproductions. I will send him an email soon; if I end up get anything made I'll post pictures.
Thanks,
Hadrian

I've done some business with Peter, but not as much as I'd like. His beautiful "Beowulf" helm makes my mouth water, but I just can't afford it. One thing I COULD afford was his Norman buckle and belt tip set, currently out being added to a scabbard w/belt I have under construction. Here's a picture-I searched high and low before I came across these, which has just the look I was searching for. Reasonably priced too. You can order from Peter with confidence.
