I am researching the life of R L Scott - I have to do a talk on his life in early October. I would be much obliged if anyone has anything on him if they could share it with me.

Also this Churburg Curse that Mann says may have inflicted him - why did he say that and what happened to the others that were said to have come under the curse?

Best regards

Drew

Hi Drew
Bob Woosnam-Savage, who was curator of arms & armour at Kelvingrove, has written two articles on Scott, the second concentrating on his purchase of the 'Avant' armour. They are both in issues of the Guide to the Park Lane Arms Fair, the 5th (1988) & 7th (1990) respectively. These may still be available from the publisher : David Oliver, tel. 01669 620618.
Give him a ring and check what he can do for you.
Neil
