Hi,

Here are a couple pictures of a fish tail pommel Euro sword and a couple pictures of Eric and I for our upcoming album. The in progress pictures are for you (you know who you are Wink ). Thanks for watching.

I like the jam session pics!
Talent is just plain talent!

I like the elegance of that XIIa...... the fishtail pommel really dresses it up!

Whats the grip? cord under leather?

Hi Daivd thanks for posting. It is hard to imagin a XII fishtail getting no comments but it may have been the music pics sorry. Anyway Yes it is hemp over woodcore with thin leather wrap. Special cutting edge and heat treat you know, the whole nine:)

Holly crap! I didn't see the nice photo's or posts at all, pretty excited, thanks mr. Luna. Don't know how I missed it. Anyway thanks to all for the kind words. Man I digs me a fishtail longsword really a joy to make.

I think I'm rapidly falling for fishtails, and there's a very big itch starting. They look quite eloquent. I had the opportunity to play with a couple custom one's recently and was amazed. Yes, yes, there's the itch...

If you've got an itch, Mr Lundemo's the man to scratch it! Big Grin

Brilliant work, John. I love this sword. I'm thinking this one may have crept onto my 'favorite Odins' list, if only for the sake of it's beauty and simplicity. It looks refined and elegant while still maintaining that quintessential man-at-arms look, IMO. Like I said, brilliant work. ;-)

Oh, and the Silent Kings photos aren't half-bad themselves! You're good.
