Hi All,
I love knife sets and and particularly fond of Bauernwehr at present and I think Bollock daggers lend themselves to this also, so here are a couple of sets I recently completed.
The Bauernwehr has horn handles and the main knife has horn and bone inserts following a design I saw a few months ago on a Grosse Messer. This sold at Sterkshof last weekend before I fully opened.
The bollock dagger has hawthorn handles with brass fittings and is still available.
I hope you enjoy them and on a personal note I really liked the Bauernwehr and will be experimenting more with the handle decoration.

lovely stuff. Particularly glad to see the hauswehr. What is that thing just under the nagel? Looks like it might get in the way of the hand a bit.
Ballock dagger is very nice too.

Thank you all, I really appreciate it, during the darker moments of hiding in my workshop it keeps me going.

I am not sure what that part is called, but it is a common feature on these knives (or something similar) and it doesn't really get in the way. If you ball your fist up there is a natural crease on the inside of your finger that it settles into quite nicely and although it looks like it should cause a problem, you barely feel it.
The bollock set has now gone.

Tod | Thank goodness. The temptation was brutal, but I could not justify the expense.
