Just when I thought The Tudors could not get any more ridiculous with the armour, I got a laugh out of this piece from the latest episode: an articulated 16th-century "plate" armour, made out of leather, worn by Henry VIII.
Such silliness on that show, I tell you. The plot is getting pretty lame, too. I wish they'd make a show about Edward VI and Mary.

Wow, just wow. I am suprised thye even tried to make him look older. Now, if they could just make him look fatter. If I am not mistaken, he is supposed to be in his late 40s with a 50" waist and has difficult moving without assistance by this time historically. The actor still looks fit and in his 30s, just with a greying beard.
My wife likes the show, but I abhor it. It's probably the worst show currently on TV, I'll be suprised if they get another season out of it.
