Hey everyone. My wonderful woman was wanting to give me a very special gift . It turned out that we deecided on a John Lundemo sword. Her Mothers "clan" was Laird (meaning "Lord") and they are of direct nothern Irish descent.
So I designed a sword with her heritage in mind... and sent my idea off to John, with the admonition ... " make it an Odin"...
Boy did he ever...
This sword is incredible in every sense of the word.. and John improved upon my design where possible... all in all this sword is crazy awesome.
I'll have a review up in a few days... until then, feast your eyes....

A beautiful sword. What are the stat's?

Very beautiful sword, the guard is very sculptural and has nice geometry and detailing.
The whole package works together from blade to guard to pommel and grip and ring mid grip.  
You can easily give up your freedom. You have to fight hard to get it back!

Great composition... it's really an eye catcher.
I especially love the guard.

Congratulations Marc on both a great sword and a truly awesome woman to go together! Of course I am a sucker for Irish ring hilts. Is there anyway we could get some stats on this beauty?

Hey guys, I'm going to put together a full review on this soon... waiting on tatami... but its a beast...
Overall is just under 50 inches.. blade is just under 37 inches, and 2.25 at the base... tapering to 1 inch just before the point...
Handle is 10 inches of leather... 13 inches or so fittings thrown in....
COP comes in at 24 inches with a COG at 4.25 inches from cross...
Weight is a bit over 3 lbs...
Primary handling node is at the cross on the grip with a secondary just south of the copper ring midgrip.
This sword has exceeded my every expectation.
John Lundemo is truly wonderful to work with.

Grats on your sword, its amazing! I love the octogonal grips with that brown leather wrap and spacer, such a sweet combo. There just isnt any wasted space on an Odinblade. Every piece of the sword has detail and dimention.
