Hi Craig
Thank you ...... those are some nice pieces, and some good pics !
Speaking of pictures ......
I've just added 8 new albums to my Picture Trail site and I'm slowly getting some of the many pic's I took while visting Scotland & England up, although its a "work-in-progress" at this point ! (see link below)
http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?username=mactom
The album "Culloden" has a bunch of neat shots that I was able to snap, despite the fact that they do not (supposedly) allow photography in the far room of the Visitors Center there ( I did not see any sign, and no one said "Dont", so I kept on clicking ;-) There were quite a few pieces that I'd never seen before, and many of them that I had seen only in old black & white shots, so it was a really special time for 'ol Mac *g* I only wish that I'd not been soooo rushed (only having sum 40 minutes there ) but regardless it was just wonderful ! ...... I will be going back again though, rest assured *g*
The Hielands took my breath away, and I miss 'em already ! Alba Gu Brath , Mac

Both of you guys,
Thanks for the photos!
Scotland looks beautiful Mac. Out of the weapons I particularly like that ribbon hilt with the Kilij style blade.
Neat!

Craig, Patrick, Todd, & Dave,
Thanks guys ..... like I said, it's a work in progress so check back now and again as I'll be adding to them !
( eventually I'll repost everything on my albums here, just need some time ;-)
Another place I'd love to have been able to photograph was Blair Castle, as they had a wonderful collection there !But ,unfortuately, they are quite strict about the "No Photography" rule ! ( I'm sure I saw a Walter Allan, or two, hanging on those walls :-)
Maybe I need to invest in one of those little spy camaras, ala "Alias" *g* Mac

I like how the scabbards are displayed with the swords.
