I've not been able to get their site up since Christmas Eve. I don't know what the deal is.

Yes, yes, it's very sad. I had nothing to do at work today other than myArmoury and shopping, and alas, KOA was down.

Same here, I hope it's just a server problem and not something worse.
I haven't sent a P.M. or an e-mail, yet, to Ryan to find out was is happening and people shouldn't flood him with messages since I'm sure he knows that there is a problem and is probably working hard trying to fix it ! Christmas buying season is not a very good time for any company's web site to be down for any extended time ! On the good side KoA has such a good reputation for good customer service that most of their longtime customers are not going to give up on them unless the outage lasts weeks or longer.
Oh, and yes I miss not going there every day to see if there is something new.
If anyone has " direct/reliable " news of what is going on let us know if they can ( assuming it's not information given in confidence ), I would advise to refrain from gossip or unsupported speculation.

Read on SFI: It seems like a server problem that they are trying to get fixed.
Crystal from Kult of Athena: http://www.swordforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99091
They are still in business and I would guess they might still take phone orders manually ? A bit more difficult than looking at the site to see what is available or new and at what price.
Probably will be back on line in a few days, so I would just wait as they may be concentrating on getting things fixed rather than filling new orders ???

The A & A Danish Axe is very tempting, is it not.

They have had a few server issues lately, I think their site went down a few months ago too for a few days.

Without doubt, a scandinavian isn't complete without his axes. :P

|

Hey, we all need our axes, right? What would life be without an axe to grind or for that matter, a grindstone, eh what? I mean what would we put our noses to if we didn't didn't have a grindstone?
What makes a Scandavian axe so special? Maybe it's the blisters one gets from wielding it for long periods while having fun doing it. If one had a regular axe and a pile of unchopped wood those same blisters would not generate half the fun, right? A real Norseman's bearded axe could and can cleeve a man in half from pate to palate or something like that. In comparison, Lizzie Borden aside, a regular wood chopping axe is really paltry for the same task. Both axes tend to get dull after a certain amount of chopping be it human or wood so one needs a grindstone for one's nose and with which to sharpen our dull axes, right?
Well, the moral if there has to be a moral is put your nose to the grindstone to buy that axe so you can get it dull and be able to sharpen it on the grindstone. Unlike the "chicken and the egg which came first" riddle, I think we can all agree that the grindstone really comes first, yes?
Everybody must get stoned!

Still down.
What's their number and how much is it to call from Australia? I want to ask about some Lorica Hamata.
