Someone wanted to see this sword, so here it is.... the Magical sword, Jerry!!!

"Jerry" is a migration-era "ring hilt" sword. Hilt is made of buffalo horn and antiqued bronze. Blade is pattern-welded from a six-bar composite of 1095 and 8203 steels. Winner, best damascus blade, Blade Show West 2005.

Happy New Year!

Surprised Wow that looks great David! Thank you very much for posting pictures of this work of art. Even though this is earlier then my main time frame one day I would love to own a sword from this era. I do not suppose you could post the stats for it could you?

This is a great looking sword!!! I would have liked to see some good pics of the blade since I and a few others have been discussing pattern welded blades. I can see why this blade took first place in 2005 show. Thanks for posting David, now lets have some more pictures.

I hate to discuss prices but I bet this sword is in the $3,000 to $4,000 range? More? Surprised Surprised Surprised

A few short stats:
Overall length: 33.5 in
Blade length: 28 in
CoG: 8.5 in
Weight: 2.5 lbs

$3,000 to $4,000 range? Yes.

Here's a mediocre close-up of the tip...
