Hi Guys,
Not sure if this is the appropiate Forum and so I apologize in the first instance, but I thought I would draw your attention to some of Grzegorz Kulig's new work, in particular his new V12 shields which he has made for himself. (Sorry Greg but I know you are too busy to be posting but I thought this should be shared and viewed by a wider appreciative audience) .

Breath taking work, enjoy....

Whoa, each new of his creations is more awe-inspiring than the last! I am working on V8 shields myself and seeing the fantastic details on that one is driving me green with envy I guess . In truth, I guess that Gregorz has once again set the plank of "accurate replica of Vendel period item" highier yet again. Fantastic work!

HI Artis
Greg is also working on two further period shields, a Valsgarde 8 shield one for a friend and a Valsgarde 7 shield two
for myself..can't wait to see the results.
(There are also other Vendel/Valsgarde helms ongoing and a Benty Grange on commision.)
Good look with your project ...oh by the way if you wanta bronze V7 scabbard slider as a gift, let me know. Just given the master that I made to a trader friend (Russ Scott) and he'll do me two copies..so I have a spare.
best

Well I hope to have some results on my project in a month or so - getting the german version of the V8 book translated (well parts of it relating to the shields and helmet) for me by a friend and dooing some other prelimenary research for it and acquiring the necessary materials - want to get as precise replica done as possible, I learned quite a bit about making and using it from my linen covered "testbed version". And. yes I would love to have the slider - V7 grave is another of the things I want to recreate, eventually.

Incredible!! Absolutely beautiful! It's times like this that I find words totally inadequate to describe my thoughts.
