I was looking through a box of some old knives and bayonets my father had collected, and i found this bayonet that says "Hembrug" on one side of the blade and on the other it has the serial number "68 G" and the inspection marking of a crown over an L. I couldn't find any information about those particular markings anywhere and i was curious if anyone here would know anything about it. I have taken a few pictures.

Your bayonet is Dutch, pre-WW2, I guess it's probably from the 1930's, but I'm by no means an expert in bayonets.

Hembrug is the name of the town (close to Amsterdam) where the "Artillerie Inrichtingen" (Artillery Workshop) was located. Many of the issued Dutch swords and bayonets of the first half of the 20th C. were made there.

The "L under crown" is an inspector's mark, and an expert might be able to roughly date it. "68 G" is the armoury mark. Probably it should also be stamped on the sheath.

Yes, it's Dutch, for the M1895 Mannlicher rifle.
