Hi everyone,
This is one of those questions that has been on my mind for some time, but I just can't seem to remember to ask it.
Regarding the colors of grips, scabbards, and other leather arms and armor parts-- are colors like green, blue, red, oxblood, tan, etc historical? I'm just wondering, because I'd assume they would be the least survivable parts of an antique sword, especially one left in the ground for centuries.
Also, are there any colors specific to regions or countries?
Thanks in advance for your knowlege and expertise.
